Who We Are

A Pacific-born, New Zealand-designed apparel brand honouring the legacy of Pasifika craftsmanship. Founded by Kalafi Teasia, inspired by a mother's hands and the stories of the ocean. Every piece is made to order, sustainably, with cultural meaning at its core.

Our Voice in Three Words

Proud. Poetic. Purposeful.

Tone Principles

1. Rooted in story, not sales

We don't push product — we share meaning. Every description, caption, and headline should feel like it's inviting someone into a story, not a transaction.

  • "Wear it as a reminder of where we come from"
  • "Buy now and save!"

2. Honour the culture, always

Pacific heritage is not a trend or aesthetic — it is the foundation. Reference it with respect, specificity, and pride. Use correct terms (Pasefika, not "tropical" or "island-inspired").

  • "Inspired by the ancient art of Pasefika navigation"
  • "Island vibes for summer"

3. Speak to the wearer's identity

Our customers don't just buy clothing — they wear their identity. Write to that feeling. Connect the garment to something they carry inside.

  • "Carry the spirit of the voyagers with you"
  • "A versatile addition to any wardrobe"

4. Sustainable without being preachy

Made-to-order and eco-friendly are core values, not marketing hooks. Mention them naturally, not as a badge.

  • "Made to order — never mass produced"
  • "We're committed to saving the planet!"

5. Warm but premium

We are not a fast fashion brand. The tone should feel elevated and intentional — but never cold or exclusive. Think: a master craftsperson who welcomes you into their workshop.

  3. Practical details — fabric, fit, sizing (clean and scannable)
  4. Close with purpose — a quiet, confident call to action rooted in meaning
